Firstly, the current research methods of ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna are summarized and analyzed; secondly, the methods to broaden antenna bandwidth and design ideology of UWB antenna are summarized; thirdly, the research status of UWB antenna is introduced and the prospect of UWB antenna is given. Finally, the recent research on UWB antenna is introduced.

He received the B.S. degree from Anhui University in 2010, M.S. and PH.D. degree from Hefei Electronic Engineering Institute (HEEI) in 2013 and 2016 respectively. Now he is a lecturer in National University of Defense Technology. He is the reviewer of several SCI journals such as Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology. His research interests include numerical methods in electromagnetic, antenna analysis and design, microwave techniques and electromagnetic spectrum management.
