| Title: Molecular Analysis of Autosomal Recessive Primary Microcephaly in Pakistan | |
| Abstract: Brain development and cellular expansion is complicated process, thus monogenic neuro-developmental disorder like congenital microcephaly is the model Mendelian disorder to unravel the mechanism. Primary microcephaly is genetically characterized as heterogeneous trait and a rare disorder worldwide. Microcephaly cannot be treated once it happens but various treatment therapies can be made to help with the behavior, development and seizures of affected individual. However, parental exome sequencing can be made to identify parental onset of recessive disorder. The study would be discussed in the conference. | |
