| Biography: Ricardo Lagoa graduated in Biochemistry from University of Coimbra (Portugal) and earned his MSc degree in Biotechnology from IST-University of Lisbon (Portugal). He completed its PhD in Biotechnology and Biomedical Research at University of Extremadura (Spain) in 2011 and is currently Assistant Professor at ESTG-Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and member of UCIBIO-Faculty of Science and Technology, University NOVA of Lisbon, Portugal. He has been contributing to R&D projects and his present research interests include cellular oxidative stress in toxicology and disease, natural compounds and biopolymers applications. | |
