Biography: 
Shenghao Wang is currently a professor at Shanghai University leading the Advanced Semiconductor Opto-electronic Materials & Devices Lab. (ASOMD) (https://x-mol.com/groups/shu-ASOMD-lab). He received his Ph.D. in 2013 from University of Tsukuba, Japan. He worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Prof. Yabing Qi's Unit in Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST), Japan, from 2013 to 2016. Then, he joined the faculty of Institute of Applied Physics, University of Tsukuba. From May of 2018, he is appointed as a Specially Appointed Professor (Eastern Scholar) by Shanghai Institutions of Higher Learning and joined Shanghai University as a full professor. His research interests include photovoltaic technology, surface & interface sciences and thin film growth. He has been devoted into solar cell research for 15 years, including CdTe, OSCs, CIGS and perovskite solar cells. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, and was invited as referees by 60+ peer-reviewed journals. He was selected as a Fellow of International Association of Advanced Materials (FIAAM). He was awarded “1% Top Peer Reviewer” by Web of Science (2020), “Shanghai Young Rising-Star Scholar” by Shanghai Science and Technology Committee (2019), “Japan Marubun Research Promotion Foundation” (2014), “Outstanding Reviewers of RSC and Elsevier publisher” (2017, 2018), “Top 5 Reviewer for Energy & Environmental Science” (2021) and “Excellent Poster Award” in the 4th Tsukuba-Hsinchu Joint Symposium on Interdisciplinary Nano-Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan (2012) . He was an (co-)inventor of US granted patent, Japan granted patent, China granted patent and Korea granted patent.
